God has given every person specific gifts, talents and abilities that He instructs us to use as we serve each other. At Volunteer Central, you can discover what those gifts are and begin to serve with them.

At City Church there are numerous ways that you can volunteer your services. Below is a list of just some of the areas that are available for you to get involved in: (see table below)
The first step to getting involved is to complete a VOLUNTEER CENTRAL APPLICATION FORM. They are available from the Information Desk on Sunday or ONLINE. Once submitted, one of our team will be in contact with you to chat about your involvement.
ADMINISTRATION
Office Admin > Photocopying, mail outs, phone calls and cutting flyers.
Finance Bookeeping > Assist with management of ministry and office finances.
CHILDREN
Our children get the best. We have amazing Sunday and midweek programs that are so much fun to be involved in! Activities include games, craft, cooking & more!
Little Angels & Warriors > Sunday morning programs for our 1-5 year olds.
Ignite Kids > Sunday morning program for our 5-12 yr olds. Parents Lounge Host > help create a great atmosphere in our parents lounge and be availalable to assist parents in any way needed.
Childminding > At church events, midweek meetings etc.
Lil Tots Sunshine Hour > Weekly midweek programs for 1-5 yr olds teaching rhythm and coordination through song and dance.
MEDIA
Editing
Behind the scenes film editing creating high quality DVD’s.
Camera Operator
Film segments during the week at church and offsite to be used during the services and on our website.
Sunday Services
The team that run the live media that you see on the big screens.
Creative
Be a part of the team that develops the ideas that come to life on the screens.
PUBLICATIONS
Graphic Art
Help us produce eye catching promo material for various ministries and events.
Website Updates
Upcoming events, gallery pages etc.
Enews
Help write & design the fortnightly e-newsletter.
Journalism
Use your writing skills to write magazine and website articles.

Be the person behind the camera that captures all the action of our events.
SUNDAY SERVICES
Car Park
Help people find the best park!
Greeters
Be the friendly face people are welcomed by as they come to church.
Ushers
Assist people with seating, collecting offering, serving communion and general directions.
Info Desk
Assist people with general church information and register people for events etc.
Venue Control
Ensure everyone has a safe and fun experience. Includes a small element of security.
YOUTH
City Youth Friday Nights
Great program reaching the teens in our community. Areas of involvement are similar to Sunday Service teams plus a few more.
Friday Night Support
Even if you are no longer a youth, you can still be involved in transport, security and set up/pack up.
School Programs
Brekky clubs & lunchtime programs.
CATERING
Providing food and beverages for special events and functions.
CITY MEN
Join the team that plan and run our bi-monthly mens outreach events & annual camps.
CITY WOMEN
Shine
Fortnightly meetings on Thursday mornings with women ministering to women in a fun and relaxed environment. Assist with set up, catering, décor etc.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
City College of Ministries & Life Purpose Certificate.
Admin Assistants
Help put together training materials and timetables for various courses.
Exam Supervisors
Provide supervision & support for our student exams.
FACILITIES
Keep our facility looking great through maintenance and cleaning.
